Bill Heatley will be teaching a series with the LifeSprings Resources Christian Education curriculum based on Dallas Willard's Renovation of the Heart: Putting on the Character of Christ. Each session focuses on the key concepts from the chapter for that week.

Each session will have a 20 minute video segment from Dr. Willard as he teaches on how the person can be transformed into Christlikeness. He then participates in a 3-way conversation with John Ortberg and Larry Crabb on the material covered. All of this material will then be discussed in class and in small groups facilitated by Bill Heatley. Portions of the session on "Transforming the Will" are available on YouTube.

Renovation of the Heart is a ground-breaking book in the area of understanding the make-up of the human being and how we can be conformed to Christlikeness by working from the inside out and organizing all the essential parts of the human self around God.

We will have books available for purchase as well as participant guides written by Gary W. Moon to accompany the videos. The Participant Guide includes Central Truths and Exercises for each subject, followed by discussion questions on the video lecture, video conversation and the original book. Each chapter closes with a Bible Study and Transforming Exercises for our thoughts, emotions, will, behavior and social interactions.
